Sketches that is. My boss was out of the office on Monday, so I was able to snatch some more drawing time. I used it to sketch this scene...

Which is just a slight (and unsuccessful) reworking of
this sketch from a few months back. I was interested primarily in playing with light and shadow, though I may develop this into a finished drawing; I have reservations because the pose and facial expression of the figure in the foreground are very similar to <ahref="http://sersugg.livejournal.com/2008/05/26/">this old drawing</a>. I've got to work on expanding the facial expressions of most of the people I draw, actually. They're either snarling their faces in sadistic glee or salivating in slackjawed transports of decadent pleasure...either way, it's getting really repetitive.
I was playing around more with shading, trying to get a more minimal feel to it, in this sketch I did at home...

This one also borrows heavily from an earlier drawing.
